Morro do Ipê
Founded in 2016, our operations are based in Brumadinho, bordering Igarapé and São Joaquim de Bicas, in the state of Minas Gerais. We extract and process iron ore at the Ipê and Tico-Tico mines, with a focus on more sustainable mining practices. We use filter press technology, eliminating the need for tailings dams. Since 2019, we have maintained and monitored three decommissioned dams in preparation for decharacterization, reinforcing our commitment to safe and responsible practices.
The ownership structure of Mineração Morro do Ipê includes major global players such as Mubadala and Trafigura, as well as other minority investors.

Casa Ipê connects Mineração Morro do Ipê with the communities of Igarapé, São Joaquim de Bicas, and Brumadinho. Located in Igarapé, it provides a space for meetings, lectures, and socio-economic projects, reinforcing our commitment to transparency and open dialogue with stakeholders.
